Recent Decor & Flowers done @ Weddings & Parties

Hi All, so even though its the cold winter months, that doesn't stop a wedding from happening, i must say i enjoy decorating for a winter wedding.  You can make it so cosy that you hardly realise that's its nippy outside.  Being winter doesn't mean that the colours need to change, i did a wedding with a yellow theme and wow it stood out so much that it felt like spring inside, every one had a skip in their step.

A trend this year is candy buffet tables.  Its more fun and really creates a focal point if you have a sweet table, either have plates where guests can help themselves after you have cut your cake or supply paper packets where they can fill them and take them home.  Makes you feel like a child taking home a whole packet filled with sweeties.

Lighting is very important and the different ways candles can be used these days is amazing, hang them, float them the options are endless and really create a romantic feel to your wedding.

Another popular theme among my brides have been vintage and wow can you get carried away decorating for a vintage wedding, feels like I'm part of the Great Gatsby...old books, old suitcase, pearls, antique cups, pots and saucers all create a romantic feel as if you were in another era.  Plus this is where your granny can step in if she has any antique/vintage goodies, nice way of trying to incorporate everyone.

So to all the brides out there, enjoy the path and journey to becoming a wife and if you need help the Smooch Team is only a call away.

Much Love
